If lockdown is getting you down, get off your butt and have a wriggle around to the infectious new single from ingeniously-named Australian outfit Bananagun. Chock full of danceable rhythms, the full 6 minute-plus version of 'People Talk Too Much' is a wild ride. As with a lot of great dance tunes, 'People Talk Too Much' opens with a movement-inducing open hi-hat, welcoming a whole host of sun-soaked instrumental elements from, frantic percussion to euphoric brass parts and rhythmic wah-guitar. A brief call and response vocal gets the message across in a few simple words, but more than anything this tune is a celebration of music itself. Bananagun's equally well-titled debut album The True Story of Bananagun will arrive on the 26th of June via Full Time Hobby.
